Spasticity Tracker is part of a research study for individuals with a medical condition called "spasticity." Spasticity is commonly seen in disorders of the nervous system such as acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and stroke. It often includes increased muscle tightness, muscle spasms, and exaggerated reflexes. One way spasticity is treated is with injection of a medication called botulinum toxin.

Spasticity Tracker is for patients (or caregivers of patients) receiving botulinum toxin injections for spasticity. People interested in joining the study will be asked a series of questions to determine if they are eligible:
• I am over the age of 18
• I live in the United States
• I am able to read and understand English
• I or someone for whom I care has a form of muscle tightness that my doctor calls “spasticity” for which botulinum toxin injection will be performed

If all of these statements apply, the application will display consent information for joining the study. After joining the study, participants will be asked to complete a series of surveys related to spasticity and function following injection of botulinum toxin.

To protect the privacy of participants, no names or other identifying information will be requested by Spasticity Tracker. Answers to surveys will be securely transmitted to the research team for analysis.
